Its snowing, Alex is at work-so I decided to finish the nursery and take pictures.
I have had so much fun gradually pulling the nursery together. I knew I wanted to work with orange, purple, and green-bright gender neutral colors to counter act the white walls of renting. And as mentioned in a previous post, I wanted to pull the theme of trees into the room, so our babe can start enjoying the outdoors as much as Alex and I.
It all came together and I love it!
I find myself daydreaming in my amazing vintage swivel- rocker (Alex hates it, but I couldn't pass it up from the local thirft store-its small, swivels, and is ORANGE:)
So, now all we need is the little one to arrive-but not too soon, at least two more weeks is what I hope for. Although, I have had the feeling that it will be earlier than May 1....
Can you guess what the initials might be?

The nursery looks great Anya! I love it. I have been meaning to tell you that the date of April 17th has been stuck in my mind (it is several other's b-days so that may be why but I thought I would share!).
Anya, it looks great. I love the hand made touches! I am thinking of you and can't wait to hear your news.
Anya, it turned out so, so cute! Lucky baby!
