Well we have had a quite a few weeks...First of all, Rio had his 9 month check up and continues to astound us with his growth! He has slowed down on gaining weight (23.5 lbs) , but is still growing like a sunflower seeking light-he is in the 97th percentile for height!!! And he is showing off his height by standing up alot-he even lets go and is able to stay steady for about 15 seconds!
The last weekend our dear friends, The Maddens came up for a visit. Emerson is 22 months old and quite a character. The boys didn't interact too much, beyond wanting whatever toy the other had;) It was a great visit....
And then...Rio got sick for the first time. He has had a sniffle here and there from traveling, but never a fever-it was so sad to see him feeling so out of his zone:( He just whimpered for about two days and wanted to be attached to one of us. Alex was a champ and stayed home with him during the height of it.
He is on the mend, back to his curious self-BUT we are covered in snot;) We think Rio may have gained some super powers from his virus, because he is ready to SKI!!!! (not really, but alex found these skis in the recycling bin and had to grab them for next year!
