Rio is just turning into quite an avid explorer and adventurer. There is nothing he doesn't want to experience, touch, or climb. I think we have a scientist on our hands:)
The picture below was Rio imitating the local dog gang digging a hole.

And now he gets to explore our new house...we found an adorable cabin to move into in Frisco. Just a few miles from where we were, and only a few houses down from where Alex and I first started dating.
Thank the stars my mother was able to stop in Colorado on her way home from spending time with her new grandaughter in Seattle and watch Rio over the course of a few days while we moved. I don't know if we could have done it without her!!! Rio soaked up his Nana time.
Rio is now eating at his new kid table. He loves being independent and using his utensils, now we just have to convince him to eat in one sitting rather than taking a bite in between playing.
He has really been into helping. Especially with the move, unpacking boxes putting anything in the trash, and just being cute.
And a new discovery, he loves the shower. He had a ball the other night splashing away with Alex. It was one of those moments I will never forget and felt so filled with joy! (the other benefit of him liking the shower, is he can rinse off after going in our new hot tub:)
