Alex "won" a camper on e-bay on the day of Arbor's birth. I was too busy to have much say, but actually was pretty happy about it:) So we took it to Steamboat Springs last week with my parents for a test run (of the camper and camping with newborn) Both went well!!!
Rio was a boss-man on the dirt hill directing Nana and Paus, and no breaks:)
Rio got his first bug bites and reacted strongly:( The picture above wasn't the worst of it. He woke up the next morning with his eye completely swollen shut. I had read that this can be normal for toddller first bites, so we didn't overreact, but did head home to keep it clean. It was fine the next day. Poor guy, he really had no clue (no pain) But he knew enough to not want his picture taken:(
My parents had fun and continued on to Yellowstone for a week, but they'll be back to help with the move. We hope they don't get eaten by grizzlies, this would be a really bad time:)
Can't wait to get out again! Or not, because "wheeling and dealing Alex" has already relisted the camper to sell and make a profit:) The life of a salesman's wife is in constant limbo....what will the next purchase be????
