We had quite an adventure over Memorial Day weekend. We headed 5 hours west (took 6 with all stops) to Moab "Ut-uh"-as Rio called it. I would say it was 50/50 fun and challenges-who takes a potty training 3 yo to the dessert? Who lets said kid eat McDonald's and then feels like he needs not 1 but 2 prunes to help him process the fast food? This MOM….and who takes a newly sleep trained baby camping? This MOM…..
and it was defintiely worth it! The landscape was amazing with the red rocks, green oasis, and lots of streams to play in. My favorite was watching my wild child run naked through the stream-he will probably be mad at me some day for these, but they are too cute. Arbor was a trooper as well, he is not liking his car seat, so lots of crying to get there, and i too think he will look back and be happy we made it.
