Well it hasn't taken long to get readjusted to Summit County. The easy and quick access to the outdoors is great and we try to get out as often as we can. Alex found a new hobby this fall, gold panning. He believes he will fund Gummi Bear's college education with a giant nugget:) Its not totally ridiculous, seeing as how over 500 tons of gold were mined in Breckenridge in the early 1900's! There must be some left for us. Its pretty relaxing for him as well. I go along most times and bring a chair and a book.
We had a late start to winter for the high country, but once it hit last week-it hit hard, dumping about 20 inches in three days! So we got out to enjoy our early x-mas present for my parents-XC skis:) I am finding a lot of enjoyment in the peacefulness of XC skiing-especially because the steeps are a big no-no in pregnancy.
And the last picture is of the current baby of the house-MOBY trying on some of my felting projects! He was not happy.
