A New House for Baby Blank

No, we're not moving again...And the gummi bear did not decide a gingerbread house would be a more suitable home than my womb...The 20 week baby is immortalized below AND in an ENVELOPE ON OUR FRIDGE!! Alex and I could not come to an agreement on finding out the sex of the babe, so we had the ultrasound tech put the results in a sealed envelope and it is still unbroken on our fridge. I really thought I would have a hard time with this (as I used to open my Christmas presents early and then rewrap them), But I have had no desire to open the envelope. I have matured over the years, and am at peace with wanting a surprise at the birth. Alex on the other hand.....sulking.

Anyways, the ultrasound was so fun! The technology is amazing and the review of human anatomy was fun too. We almost got a 3-D shot of the face, but tiny hands kept covering the face on multiple attempts:) Which is ok with me, I find the 3-D ultrasounds a little freaky! We did see each and every vertebrae, the corpus callosum, the full bladder (amniotic fluid-YUM)-And look at that FEMUR....A soccer player, skiier, swimmer for sure!

Aaaah! It is a real live baby! I don't know why I am so excited about this, but certain other people's USs I've seen lately are a little more indiscriminant blob-like than they are baby-like. Getting super excited for you!
