We had a wonderful visit from my sister and her fiance Jesse. In between "Baby TV", they cooked us wonderful food. Heather held Rio at all possible chances, and Jesse got a few snuggles as well. Heather also got christened with an explosive diaper. We took our first hike of the season and talked wedding details. Heather and Jesse have a big year, they are closing on a house in Seattle (and trying to convince us to move there) and their wedding will be Oct. 1! It would be so great to live closer to each other.
Rio is now sporting his adorable and landfill-saving cloth diapers. They are a bit bulky, but oh so cute! We have 24 diapers that we plan to wash every other day. The amount of trash we produced in his first month was staggering, so we hope to help save a bit of land by using these. These are not the diapers you and I wore, they are super clean and easy. Keep your eyes peeled for future pictures with all the vibrant colors.Rio is showing a lot of strength with his neck muscles, but not quite ready for the Bumbo:)

Definitely keep me up-to-date on the cloth dipes. I'm hoping that's going smoothly so far!
