This morning Alex woke me up by saying "his eyes aren't blue anymore"...sure enough they are a'changin'. They are still light but little flecks of brown are dotting his iris. I have to say I am a little sad, I thought a blue-eyed version of Alex would be pretty cool! But thats ok, either color his eyes still melt my heart:)
My love of naked babies increased tenfold when Rio let out his first giggle this week while I was holding him naked before the bath:) We haven't been able to get another good one, but smiles are plenty....
Or not....
In other news, Rio wants to stand or sit up as much as possible. He maybe trying to catch the other babies from daycare...we started Rio in daycare 1x week. Alex was having a lot of trainings on Wednesdays and it was just too hard to find someone sporadically. Of course, when we dropped him off we told him he doesn't nap much (40 minutes max) and what does he do? Slept the whole afternoon;)

And most excitedly....Rio slept through the night on Friday night! It took 2 hours to get him down (below) but then-11 hours straight! He woke up for a few hours and then took a 3 hour nap. Of course I was worried something was wrong, but I think he just finally figured out that sleep does the body good!
