New England weekend

So we got a quick East-Coast Mini-Vaca last weekend... The whole reason for the trip was to see Brooke and Curt tie the knot in RI. It was a wonderful wedding and so great to be with my girls!

And my parents were excited to come down and babysit Rio so Alex and I could enjoy ourselves for our first night away from the babe:) I think its fair to say that everyone enjoyed the night!

We then decided to make the drive to NH to go to the lake (Newfound Lake-where we had a summer cabin-which my parents have renovated into their soon-to-be retirement chalet). Rio got his first boat ride in Paus' new boat (which is 15 years overdue). I really can't go a summer without being there, and even though it was rainy-I had to jump in:) My Bro, Ian, and his girl joined us for a lobster feast too. Rio loves his Unlce "E".

Rio is already racking up the frequent flier miles, 2 trips down and one more to go in September. He will have seen both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans before he's even a half year old!
