A visual update on Rio.
Sleeping...Rio is eating and sleeping well, he eats about every 2 hours, and sleeps in between.
Yet, he has wonderful wakeful times as well. He loves to stare at faces and listens intently to all sounds. He likes to be sung to and my mom's rock'n'roll ring tone (he even danced a little:)
Grams, Nana, Nan, G-Ma....My mom hasn't decided on her name yet, we keep trying them out but Rio hasn't told us what he prefers. Having my mom here has been so wonderful-we take turns staring into Rio's eyes and falling in love. Mom has been making us delicious meals and freezing the leftovers for later. We are very thankful to have her help us out in this transition time and excited to spend my first Mother's Day with her.
Bath time has not been a huge hit yet, but we are sure he will learn to love the water.
Rio is still on the O2, he will be checked every week as to when he can come off-he is making progress so we are hoping for sooner than later-as the cumbersome tank is restrictive.
And we are all catching our Z's whenever we can;)
